TAROT WISDOM READINGS

Here are the Tarot-Scopes by Sun Sign for the month of November.  For this feature, I am using traditional Western Sun signs of the zodiac, but if you’re curious what your Vedic Astrology Sun sign is, check out the Vedic Astrology Sun Signs page and compare.  If your Vedic Sun sign is different than your traditional Western sign, you might even see how both of the energies listed below could apply to you – or perhaps one may be more prominent for you than the other.

Keep in mind that a single card pulled for a given sign will not represent everything you experience during the month.  It is a significant theme of the month that you will probably see or relate to in one way or another. But it’s not the sum of the whole.  It is, however, one important aspect or theme that the Tarot wants to bring to the attention of each Sun Sign.

This month, I have used the Wildwood Tarot deck – a beautiful creation by artist Will Worthington and authors Mark Ryan and John Matthews.

ARIES: Nine of Vessels (Generosity)
This month, the Nine of Vessels indicates that you will have enough abundance in a way that you also have enough to share with others.  In whatever way you are able to share with someone this month, Aries, the act of this generosity means more blessings and abundance that comes to you!

Being generous isn’t just in terms of money. For some folks, it can mean sharing your time, or giving away things that you no longer need and use.  There are many ways in which you can be generous, even if there aren’t any extra funds to spare.

Give something of value to someone else.  Make a difference in the life of another person, even if it’s just through a hug, a smile, and a word of encouragement.  That, too, is a form of generosity.  And what you give during this time will come back to you as multiplied benefits.  Just as a wish may come true for you this month, Aries, it’s possible that your generosity could also make someone else’s wish come true as well.

TAURUS:  Ten of Vessels (Happiness)
Happiness on the home front and/or in matters of love is the theme for you this month, Taurus.  It’s all about the beautiful flow of happiness that is yours for the taking.  You don’t have to wait for certain conditions to happen before you can be happy, Taurus.  You can choose to be happy right now!

With the Ten of Vessels, you may enjoy a homecoming this month.  Time spent with family, loved ones, and a significant other will be the highlights of your happiness at this time.

When you hear the saying, “There’s no place like home,” that couldn’t be truer for you at this time, Taurus.  Enjoy these warm feelings and the bonds that you share with loved ones.  These are moments to treasure, and they are blessings to be acknowledged.

GEMINI:  Six of Arrows (Transition)
An important transition may be taking place for you this month, Gemini.  This transition may be one that requires you to release the old and adopt the new.  This can be on the level of your beliefs, feelings, thoughts, perceptions, or attitudes – or it could represent a change in jobs or home life.

Change can, of course, feel unsettling at first.  It can also feel both scary and exciting at the same time.  But the time has come to welcome the opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and explore a new horizon.

Go into this new journey with a spirit of adventure.  This is a time for you to evolve and grow beyond the bounds of your previous existence.  You will be safe as you navigate the new experiences that call for your attention.

CANCER:  The Wheel
The Wheel represents cycles and change, and it lets you know that you are the weaver of your own destiny, Cancer.  It is through your choices and actions that you mark the path of your own fate.

You hold possibilities and potentials, Cancer, and it’s up to you to carry out the creation of those.  With the ability to be able to weave your own destiny, the Wheel also reminds you that responsibility comes with that.  While your actions are not without risk, sometimes a risk needs to be taken.  This is a time to take a chance as favorable conditions are shining upon you.

If troubles have plagued you, the Wheel is a good sign that things are turning in a new and better direction.  Change may be a part of your experiences this month on some level, and how you deal with that change is important.  Be at peace with change, and be willing to take control of the Wheel of your life, which includes your actions, thoughts, words, and choices.

LEO:  Ace of Vessels (The Waters of Life)
The Ace of Vessels is a welcome energy for you, Leo!  This month will bring happiness and blessing to you.  Through this blessed energy, you may gain your heart’s desire and feel emotionally content.

This is a card of new beginnings, love, happiness, and abundance.  Deep emotions may be coming to the surface.  It can represent love in its beginnings stages or finding the love of your life.  It can be the renewal of a relationship or starting over through reuniting.

There is a gift within the Ace of Vessels which allows you to become more open to the power of emotions.  This card challenges you to allow the flow of love and emotion into your life.  It speaks of positive, creative feelings welling up within to be outwardly expressed.  Where there is this much joy, it is not unusual to also find tears of happiness.  It is emotion overflowing . . . but in a very good way.

VIRGO:  The Journey
A major change may be inevitable in some area of your life this month, Virgo.  It’s a time for releasing old and outworn habits, and letting go of the past so that you can move forward.  This “journey” may represent the end of an attitude, a project, a condition, a relationship, a problem, habits, or a certain way of life.  This is the process of inevitable change, where old conditions must be released to make way for new beginnings and possibilities. Change can feel painful at first, but it’s necessary.  In fact, it’s required . . . and if you don’t willingly try to accept these changes and come to terms with them, something could very well come about that is out of your control that “forces” you to change.

If you see some major changes that are desperately needed in your life, Virgo, or changes that are coming about that you would prefer not to deal with, but just seem to be happening anyway . . . the best way to respond is by adapting.  Perhaps you have little or no control over upcoming transitions in your life, but you can change how you react to those that occur.  Letting go is not easy, especially when we are called upon to make a major shift in life.  Have faith that this change will benefit you more than clinging to the old ways would.

We often see need for change in our lives, but sometimes that transformation seems like it would just turn our lives upside-down . . . and indeed it may do just that!  But we forget that once we get past the hardships or struggles brought about by a major transition . . . there is a better tomorrow on the other side!  Hanging on to the past, or clinging to the easy and familiar ways of dealing with things that really aren’t right for us . . . means that we will lose out on new opportunities coming into our lives.

LIBRA:  Three of Arrows (Jealousy)
Libra, watch out for envy or jealousy issues this month – whether you are the jealous one, or whether someone is showing signs of jealousy toward you!  Jealousy implies that someone is feeling a sense of loss, but it’s also an unhealthy emotion that can be replaced with humility and acceptance.

And remember that just because you think someone has the most wonderful and amazing life, you might not be seeing beneath the surface to realize the problems that such a person has in his or her life.

Jealousy can also bring with it a sense of entitlement.  If you are feeling jealous at this time, look closer at your motives and responsibility in this jealousy.  Ask yourself why you feel jealous in the first place.  Get to the root of those feelings.  If, on the other hand, you’re dealing with someone who feels that the world owes them, you need not contribute to their sense of entitlement by giving to them without getting something back in return.  While we normally should do just that – give without expectations of return – dealing with jealous folks who hold a sense of entitlement can be another story altogether.  Don’t put yourself in a position where someone will act like you owe them when you really don’t.  They may use emotional manipulation to push your buttons.

SCORPIO:  Ace of Stones (The Foundation of Life)
The Ace of Stones can be considered a “gift card,” for it indicates that something new may appear for you.  This could be a chance to put money, home, or health troubles behind you . . . and a chance to initiate positive change to your surroundings with a new beginning in your life.  Be open to different ways of doing things this month, Scorpio.  Look for fresh starts and new opportunities!

There is enormous wealth in the world, and it’s not always just about money (although it is definitely possible for money issues to improve in your life at this time).  The investment you make in yourself, in the people you love, and in the things you value is the most important “money” you will ever spend.  A new cycle of financial growth is beginning.  It may come quietly or in “bits and pieces.”  But a new way of supporting yourself could be taking shape.

Finding a new way to use your talents is a new way of supporting your dream.  Look for a new source of income, a new business venture, or a new practical opportunity to come knocking at your door.  Be sure to invite that in your life when it comes.  Realize that some of the most important opportunities in regard to finances don’t usually happen in a day.  But getting started on them will pave your way to success in times to come.  It just can’t happen if you don’t let yourself get started, however.  A new level of economic comfort, a boost in your lifestyle, a healthier way to live . . . could all be integrating themselves into your life very soon and offer you something rock solid that supports you in the way you most need!

SAGITTARIUS:  Ace of Bows (Spark of Life)
This month brings new ideas your way, and opportunities arrive to put creative ventures into action. This marks the birth of something important and of value to you. If you want to take full advantage of this energy, you must not only be open to new thoughts and plans, but also be willing to carry them out and see them through!

Renewed self-confidence is a theme this month.  It’s a time to renew your vision of who you are as a person, to focus on what you want to accomplish for yourself and others, and launch new plans to succeed.   Reacquaint yourself with your own essence, your own authentic being, and celebrate your spirit.  This is, after all, the key to realizing your full potential and moving confidently toward ambitions that are both worthy of you and worth achieving.

It’s also a time to be honest with yourself and others about who you are and what you want.  State clearly what you are willing to do to accomplish that . . . and then back up your assertions with action. Additionally, know that being honest with yourself is the only authentic way to live.  And an authentic life is the only kind worth living.  By definition . . . anything less is not “your life” at all. A new level of personal success awaits you.  Step into this powerful new self-image and confidence . . . and reach out to claim it.  The time is now.

CAPRICORN:  The Seer
Pay attention to your dreams, visions, and intuition this month, Capricorn.  The subconscious may hold messages for you, but such messages are not always readily accessible.  You must pay attention and notice them, as these messages are not the kind that reach out and grab your attention.

Accept, too, that sometimes we must wait in order to get the answers we seek.  When the time is right, you will be given access to the information you are seeking.  But such knowledge or information might not be available in the moment.  You must be patient with yourself and the situations at hand.

The knowledge to resolve a problem is not likely to come through logical methods, but may become apparent to you through your intuition.  So pay attention to those inner hunches, as they are there to guide you on whatever journey you’re currently on.  Something that has had you puzzled may become somewhat clearer this month, but still, you might not have all the answers just yet.  Don’t try to push a situation into what you want it to be.  Wait things out for now.

AQUARIUS:  Knight of Arrows (Hawk)
You will likely lead more with your head than your heart this month, but at this time, it’s especially important to listen more to the wisdom of your head, Aquarius, instead of letting the heart decisions rule.

This is a card of change, and with this energy, it’s something you are ready for.  That great new idea or that moment of welcome information and insight will find new power and focus as you devise different ways of using what you’ve learned . . . or to expand on your original thoughts.  You may feel energized again, and this will be a welcome change for you.  You will find yourself more than ready to push these new ideas and plans of yours . . . and it seems that this month is giving you a very fine chance to do it!
Get your thoughts organized.  Say what’s on your mind.  And take action!  This won’t be a time to dwell on doubts and hesitation.  It’s also not a time to hope that someone else will do the job for you.  Situations may call on you to cut through fear and indecision . . . and go for what you believe in.  Be sure that you are willing to finish a project you’ve started before rushing off to a new one!

PISCES:  Six of Stones (Exploitation)
Pisces, look to areas that might be wasteful at this time.  What can you conserve or recycle this month?  There is an old saying that tells us, “Waste not, want not,” and this is an applicable phrase at this time.  If you find that you’ve wasted something – whether money, time, or other resources – you may also find that you can’t make ends meet or are falling short because of waste.

Don’t put yourself in a position of having to ask others for help if you can actually help yourself.  And don’t waste things to the point that you later find yourself in need.  Plan for your future needs now.

Regarding money and/or resources, some people live by the philosophy that they “can’t take it with them when they die, so they’ll use it all now.”  But that can be a wasteful way to live one’s life.  It’s up to you to prepare for your tomorrows and your future days, Pisces.  How can you conserve more and waste less in your life at this time?
