Last year, I did a two-card pull for the Super Bowl game – all in fun – and it turned out right. I had posted that to Facebook on February 6th, 2011 – so I had to do a lot of clicking to go back and read what I had written before the game started on that evening.
I hesitate to do these things that tend to be somewhat like “gambling” with the odds, so please know right up front that this is ALL IN FUN. I am not even a football fan and know little about the game. I used to crack that silly joke about why they are all fighting over a silly quarter. LOL
Anyhow, on to the predictions . . . . Just like last year when the Steelers and Packers played, for the purpose of trying to determine who is going to win this Super Bowl for 2012, I asked the simple question:
“What will be the after-game atmosphere for each of the teams (Giants and Patriots) tonight?

Giants – 5 of Pentacles . . . Patriots – 7 of Pentacles
Neither team has drawn a card that announces big reasons for celebration, but it looks like the Patriots may take the win. Let’s take a look . . .
Giants – 5 of Pentacles: There is a clear sense of loss and defeat in the 5 of Pentacles. This is the energy of feeling out in the cold or left outside when you wanted to be “in” with the party where it’s warm and welcoming. I have a feeling the Giants are going to take some pretty big hits in tonight’s game. It doesn’t look like they are going to be one bit happy in that after-game atmosphere. This is a card that clearly specifies a loss.
Additionally, they may have some players that sustain some injuries that will either make it painfully challenging to stay in the game and play at their best, or it could literally take someone out of the game for the night.
Patriots – 7 of Pentacles: This card indicates that there’s more there than meets the eye, and in comparison to the 5 of Pentacles, it looks like the Patriots may win. Things tend to be a little bit better than what one sees, even though there is always room for growth and improvement under this energy.
Even so, their coach may be giving them a speech during the after-game celebration about all kinds of things they could have and should have done differently – even with a win. The coach may point out some good things of the game, but he may drive home the problems he saw as well – with the intent that they can do even better in future games.
Thus, if I was a betting person – which I’m not – I would be favoring the Patriots for tonight’s game. It could actually be a fairly close game, and the Patriots may definitely have their moments of worry at some point in the game. But the 7 of Pentacles definitely gives the Patriots an edge for more points . . . and ultimately the win and the glory!
We’ll see how this turns out. Remember, I drew these cards in fun. As this can be construed by the Tarot as a “gambling” question, it doesn’t always like to respond so easily. But Tarot knows that tonight, I will be not be watching the game, nor will I be placing any bets. But I’ll find out tomorrow who our actual victory team is.
Good luck to both teams. And may the best team win!!
Many Blessings,
