ARIES:  Death
This month, you may have a need to look at what is outdated or expired in your life. Yet you may be reluctant to let it go.  Know that hanging on to what can no longer serve you in healthy ways is detrimental to your progress.

Death is a card of change and transition, and while change can be uncomfortable to deal with, Aries, consider the alternative . . . where stagnation keeps things stuck without any progress or gain.

Please don’t resist the necessary changes, Aries.  Resistance and denial only makes it harder.  Whatever ending you are facing, know that it’s necessary to make a fresh new beginning and a tastier future.  Out with the old, and in with the new!

What has turned sour in your life, Aries, and is ready to be thrown out?

TAURUS:  Queen of Cups
You may spend time with your mother at this time — or someone who is like a mother figure to you.  This could even be a loyal, supportive friend and confidante whose presence helps lift your spirits and makes you feel cared for.

Unconditional love, warmth, and compassion surround you.  Find the people who exhibit this kind of love in your life.  Look for the good in others, but at the same time, don’t let people take advantage of your kind-hearted and giving nature.

The Queen of Cups has the ability to look on the bright side of things, and she encourages you to do the same, Taurus.  Sometimes the reliance on your intuition is more important than common sense and what is logical.

Be calm and patient.  Don’t try to control things.  Just wait until the situation shows you what it requires.  Release your attachment to the outcome.  When you do so, you will go easier on yourself, which will also help you see the larger reason that events unfold as they do.

A father or father figure may be prominent in your life – or even someone who is like a big brother.  This person could play an important role in your life this month.

Guide others with compassion and love.  You may be called upon to be that “rock” that others need to lean on.  Kindness can accomplish great things for you at this time.  Be supportive of others.  Listen with your heart, and open yourself to the emotional side of life.  This can be uplifting for you as well as others.

Who in your life needs to hear how you feel about them, Gemini?

CANCER:  Justice
This month, a situation may require that you be completely objective as you listen to all sides of a story.  And you may have to show some tough love to others as you come to conclusions that are unbiased and fair.

Justice reminds you, Cancer, that life holds both karmic consequences as well as rewards.  The rewards are always what we enjoy, but the consequences also hold valuable lessons in one’s personal growth.

The truth of a situation may come out, and some decisions may have to be made.  It’s a time to see things clearly, as situations start coming together.  Decisions should be made impartially and without letting emotions rule the game.

Something you have wished for may manifest this month, Leo!  Something your heart desires may come true, so think carefully about what you want.  Be clear what you are asking the universe for, because that wish just might come true!

Make time to put worries aside this month and focus on pleasure, fun, and the things and people in your life for which you feel grateful.

You may be pleasantly surprised this month with how things fall into place and turn out better than expected.  Things flow easily and gracefully.  Enjoy these happy times and make the most of them.  Outer situations will be there to help you claim this happy place.  But remember, happiness is always a choice.

VIRGO:  The Fool
A new journey awaits you, Virgo!  It’s time to start a new chapter in some area of your life – and you are the person who knows better than anyone else exactly what area this is in.

You may feel a little disorganized or confused, but fear need not hold you back!  Instead, let enthusiasm and excitement propel you forward.  You don’t have to know all the answers to get started.  The important thing is to just start already!

You will find what you need as you go along.  Sometimes the best things in life don’t start with a firm plan.  This doesn’t mean to approach things blindly, as we should always at least “look before we leap,” but the Fool is all about having faith in yourself and the possibilities.

The Fool shows how you can be a “diamond in the rough,” Virgo.  Even if you are starting something new and have little or no experience, this new beginning can offer a lot of potential.  So don’t be afraid of it. Embrace it with a smile, while you follow your heart to do something you’ve always wanted to try.

LIBRA:  High Priestess
Don’t expect answers to be spoon-fed to you, Libra.  In fact, you may have to wait before some answers are finally revealed, so be patient.  In the meantime, pay attention to your intuition.  Pay attention to what feels right – and also what doesn’t feel so right.  There’s a reason for you to feel the things you do, even if you don’t understand it all just yet.

Silence is golden.  If you are trying to decide whether to reveal something or keep it to yourself, now is the time to be silent about it and just keep things to yourself.  Wait until the time is right to reveal your secrets – and to the people you know you can trust.

Try to simplify things.  Find some quiet time for yourself.  Take some personal time away from endless distractions, television, empty talk, etc.  Use the quiet space you create for yourself to recharge your intuitive batteries.

Keep in mind that outcomes depend on a lot of choices, and more than likely, not all of the choices are yours to make.  You as well as others are making decisions that will shape the future.  Thus, it’s a time to rethink a situation, listen carefully to your feelings and intuition (or gut instinct), and wait for things to unfold a bit more before taking definite action.  You may need more solid information to make good choices, and only time is going to provide that to you.

SCORPIO:  The Star
It’s a great time to be hopeful, Scorpio!  The Star is a good omen which surrounds you this month.  It’s the positive kind of energy that literally invites you to “wish upon a star!”  It also asks you to reach for the stars. Believe in yourself and the dreams you wish to manifest.

The star is a light in the darkness — it is hope!  Anything in life is easier to cope with when we have hope.  If there has been something that hasn’t been going as well as you wanted in your life lately, the Star lets you know that you can expect a turn for the better!  Even when problems seem overwhelming, we can still feel hope; it is part of our survival instinct.  Those who carry hope in their hearts will always fare better than those who don’t.

Use the positive light of the Star to guide you in your efforts.  Your life is what you make of it.  Focus on your blessings and work on realizing your true potential.

Look at all you’ve accomplished so far, Sagittarius!  Doesn’t it feel great when you pause for a moment and really see and appreciate your progress to date?

You are in a very good position to reach a goal this month, so continue applying practical effort, and focus on the results you want to achieve.  Stay organized and disciplined in your efforts, because any sacrifices you’ve been making are about to pay off quite nicely.

Now is your time to prove that you are able to independently get the job done.  You may not be relying too extensively on others.  In fact, a lot of what you are doing may be solo.  But you’re finding the rhythms and cycles that work for you, and that’s what matters.

CAPRICORN:  Reversed Ace of Wands
Something doesn’t seem to be quite as productive as you hoped or expected, Capricorn.   While you may think you are clearing away the dust for a fresh start, it looks like something is holding back on you and refuses to budge.  This can make all of your efforts feel in vain.

Identify where you are experiencing a false start.  Understand where the plan went wrong so you can readjust some things to try again.

You may experience some delays or some kind of setback which can make you anxious.  Look at this kind of issue as a chance to work out and fine tune some details that could make all the difference between your ultimate success . . . or failure.

Things are still early in the game, so now is a better time to go back to the drawing board than later on.  And just make sure that whatever you are trying to achieve is something you still feel passionate about.  If you don’t feel excited about something that isn’t quite going right . . . maybe it’s a sign that you are involved in the wrong thing.

AQUARIUS:  Reversed Seven of Swords
This month, the air may be cleared on some kind of dishonest or deceptive situation.  You may be “seeing the light” now on a situation for which you were recently “in the dark.”  Someone may have lied to you or misled you, but the truth is now revealed or soon will be.  It’s possible that you might even get an apology from someone who has done you wrong.

If it is you, Aquarius, who needs to make amends, know that it’s better to handle this sooner rather than later.  Procrastination only makes an apology all the harder to make.  The truth can hurt when it’s faced, and confessions aren’t easy to make, but just remember that consequences can be worse if you don’t just come forward and come clean with things.

The truth does a great job of clearing the air.  It brings a new perspective to a situation when you stop believing lies and excuses . . . and when you stop lying to yourself as well.  The 7 of Swords is about coming to terms with the truth, and that can be a very uncomfortable, but necessary, thing to do!

You may have been allowing someone to get away with something for which you should have put a stop to long ago.  This is the time to stop pretending that something unfair or deceitful isn’t happening.  Things are out in the open now.  You may be clearing the air once and for all . . . and calling a spade a spade!

PISCES:  Four of Swords
Ahhh, life can be peaceful and refreshing, Pisces.  The Four of Swords suggests that it’s time to take a break.  Take some downtime – or even take that vacation you’ve been thinking about but haven’t made time or plans for yet.

This is your chance to take a break on some level.  Retreat from the noise of life and let mind, body, and soul recuperate and recharge.

This is not the time to rush into big actions or make earth-moving decisions, Pisces.  Things are meant to be calmer and more contemplative for the time being.  There will be opportunity later to get back into full swing.  But for now, take your time.  Slow down.  Give yourself the break you need and deserve.

When excess demands are made on your time, the Four of Swords encourages you to say “no” to this.  You need to protect your own limits and boundaries, and sometimes it means that you’ll have to say “no” to others.  Put that word in your vocabulary, and don’t be afraid to use it!
